SSF Education and Training Manager

Status: Permanent Employment Contract

Hours: Full-time (35 hours per week). Open to requests for flexible and hybrid working arrangements.

Salary: £28,522 – £34,509 per annum

Based: Based in Glasgow with travel throughout Scotland required.

SSF Sessional Worker (multiple posts)

Status: Sessional Worker Contract

Pay: £9.90 – £13.91 per hour

Locations: Various roles across Fife, Glasgow, and Stirling

Hours: Flexible hours (typically 2 – 20 hours per week)

We are currently recruiting for Workers to join our bank of sessional staff, to undertake work on a flexible basis. SSF Workers may be offered a variety of assignments, depending on their skills, experience, and availability. Roles include Physical Activity Coaches, Youth Workers, Nutrition and Exercise Workers, and Health and Wellbeing Workers. You will have the opportunity to discuss and agree assignments with your supervisor.

Please see a list of assignments we are currently recruiting for below. However, more assignments will become available on an ongoing basis and you can apply to join our bank of Sessional Workers even if the assignments below are not suitable.

  • GLASGOW – Exercise and Nutrition Worker at SSF Families, Cranhill, Mondays and Fridays, 5.00pm – 8.00pm, 6 hours total per week
  • GLASGOW – Physical Activity Coach and Youth Worker at Shell Twilight (Multisport), Barrowfield, Tuesdays and Thursdays, 4.45pm – 7.45pm, 6 hours total per week
  • GLASGOW – Physical Activity Coach and Youth Worker (Health and Wellbeing) at Active:2:Grow, Helenslea, Wednesdays, 5.00pm – 8.00pm, 3 hours total per week
  • FIFE – Youth Worker at SSF Chance:2:Be, Lochgelly, Wednesdays 9.30am – 3.30pm and Thursdays 11.30am – 1.30pm, plus 1 hour planning time, 9 hours total per week
  • FIFE – Physical Activity Coach and Youth Worker (Multisport) at Shell Twilight, Lochgelly, Tuesdays, 2.30pm – 5.30pm, 3 hours total per week
  • FIFE – Physical Activity Coach and Youth Worker (Multisport) at Shell Twilight, Lochgelly, Thursdays, 5.30pm – 8.30pm, 3 hours total per week
  • FIFE – Physical Activity Coach and Youth Worker (Health and Wellbeing) at Active:2:Grow, Lochgelly, Tuesdays 4.30pm – 7.30pm, 3 hours total per week
  • STIRLING – Physical Activity Coach and Youth Worker (Multisport) at Shell Twilight, Hillpark, Thursdays, 4:30pm-7pm, 2.5 hours per week. (FEMALE ONLY*)
  • STIRLING –  Youth Worker (Multisport) at SSF Chance:2:Be, Bannockburn, Wednesdays 1-3pm and Thursdays 9.30am – 3.30pm, plus 1 hour planning time, 9 hours total per week.

*The role based in Stirling is open to female applicants only as it involves working specifically on a programme support young people’s mental health and wellbeing. The programme will engage both male and females and we look to have a gender balance across the staff.
